In 2016, BIO Productions was founded by Aaron Cooley with a commitment to authenticity. The company specializes in short-form content featuring high school athletes captured on handheld camcorders and edited with iMovie and Final Cut Pro by Cooley. Through the development of social content, BIO Productions helped to raise the profile of inner-city talent in Boston, including Dasonte Bowen (class of '26, Iowa), Davonte Jamison (class of '24, St. Thomas Aquinas College), and Kurtis Henderson (class of '25, Hartford University).

Fashion is ubiquitous, and the clothes we wear can often reflect how we want to present ourselves to the world when we go outside. BIO Productions provides a combination of fashion and sports. Inspired by his upbringing in Roxbury, Massachusetts, the brand is based on Cooley’s belief in self-expression and determination. BIO Productions focuses on quality, purpose, and storytelling in its photography and videography content and clothing range. Our team seeks to provide athletes with college recruitment opportunities, help them build their brands, and offer accessible fashion for comfort.

Since Cooley began his journey as an entrepreneur, his focus has been on growing the platform and vision of the brand rather than on its income. He is a college student at Brown University, learning about business management through classes and internships. He wishes to show young people from his neighborhood that opportunities are within reach.
